Merry Christmas!

December 23rd, 2009 by Nicolette Bailey

We give thanks for all the wonderful things that happened this year and the wondrous things that didn’t happen this year (last year’s record snow fall).  To Dan and Susan Raider we send a special Holiday thank you for all you did for us in 2008.

Just kidding

This is what our hill looked like LAST year. Thank goodness we are not seeing this weather this year, although the girls wish it were snowing. And they would like a White Christmas. Guess they will just have to watch the movie. Cheers.

Winter

What a glorious day it is up here on the Hill. Just finishing a wine tasting and then back into the vineyard.

Preparing for Christmas.

It is hard to believe that it is only four days away.

"Tis the season

No not for shopping (yet), for working in the vineyard. The weather is cooperating today to let us stay dry and get more work done before pruning.

The guests just left for the day. We have several wine tasting appointments coming up this afternoon. Unfortunately, the fog has not lifted enough to see our great views. Maybe it will lift later.

Christmas preparations

December 17th, 2009 by Nicolette Bailey

We are preparing for Christmas by getting as much vineyard work done this week as possible and dodging the raindrops.

Rain, rain here to stay.

December 15th, 2009 by Nicolette Bailey

The seasonal rains that we so much need are finally here, even if it does make it unpleasant working in the vineyard.

Las Vegas included many good events and meeting many in the industry there. Hope everyone there has a better year in 2010.

Cheers,

December 6th, 2009 by Nicolette Bailey

We had a great Christmas Party for one of our guests last night. A good time was had by all. Next Saturday night is our Holiday Dinner Party. Hope everyone will come join us and celebrate the season.

It is another beautiful day in the Willamette Valley. The weather has been dry and we have gotten a lot of work done in the vineyard.

Cheers!
