The Dallas Morning News has awarded the 2008 Jordan Pinot Noir a silver in this year’s competition. We don’t enter many competitions, but there are a few like this one that truly is an international competition that means something. The Jordan bottling continues to be our flagship bottling that best reflects the characteristics of Youngberg Hill. Check it out on http://www.dallaswinecomp.com.

Come celebrate an unforgettable night of a perfectly paired nine course dinner created by “Chef of the Year” Chef Erol Kanmaz, Sous Chef for Timberline Lodge. He and our in house chef/assistant wine maker, Jess Davis, developed menu and recipe ideas to jointly highlight the pairing of his spirited and talented creations with the wonderful wines of Youngberg Hill.
This is a very limited opportunity to enjoy the mastery of culinary arts and how locally procured foods can play with the wine of Youngberg Hill.

We were on a wine tasting, bed and breakfast tour with a group of friends. I cannot say enough good about Joe Dobbes and Wayne Bailey. Informative, friendly. We were treated like part of the family at Youngberg Hill.
Youngberg Hill is a beautiful place with friendly helpful staff. Our food was fabulous.
This was an experience we will remember for many years to come. We hope to be able to have the experience again.

Our Wine Dinner for the Classic Wine Auction was great Thursday night. The Chefs from Aquariva did a marvelous job and everyone had a great time. Dobbes Family Estate brought some wonderful wines shared along side our estate wines, paired perfectly with Andy’s dishes. Thanks to all.
Our next dinner on The Hill will be April 2nd with our guest Chef Erol form Timberline.
The view that evening was spectacular as well.

Youngberg Hill will be busy this week in the Yamhill Valley. Tuesday we have a lucky couple getting married on The Hill.
Thursday is the Classic Wine Auction Dinner in The Inn along with tour and tasting at both Youngberg Hill and Dobbes. The dinner is prepared by Andy Arndt of Aquariva.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is SIP, the McMinnville Wine and Food Classic at the Evergreen Space Museum. Please stop by.
And of course, our tasting room is open at the top of The Hill to enjoy the great views along with our great wines.
