Youngberg Hill is a proud Member of Select Registry. What makes Select Registry membership so special? Perhaps the most important distinction between a Select Registry member inn and any other is our system of quality assurance. Select Registry carries out a quality assurance inspection of each inns. This program involves independent inspectors – not employees of Select Registry – with years of experience in the hospitality industry. The inspectors arrive anonymously, spend the night, and evaluate the inn based on a detailed point system, which translates into a pass/fail grade for the inn. Thus, this process provides a guarantee to the traveling public that a Select Registry inn is in a class of its own. No other online directory or organization of innkeepers has a comparable inspection program. Select Registry has established quality as a hallmark of its member properties. All of our inns are “the best” – and our inspections prove it! Youngberg Hill is a location you Must see in your lifetime.

Reviewed June 7, 2011- NEWThe Inn was a beautiful, relaxing place to vacation at. My room was lovely, with a gas fireplace that I lit each night before bed for awhile. The view from my room on the second floor as well as the living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor was spectacular. The Inn was exceptionally clean. We had a wonderful breakfast served each morning that was both unique and delicious. Our hosts were very delightful from Becky who prepared breakfast each morning and gave helpful suggestions as to good places to visit in the area to the owner/ winemaker who welcomed us and shared the history of the Inn during our evening wine tastings.

Reviewed June 7, 2011- NEWIdyllic photos can’t capture the peaceful wonder that is Youngberg Hill. This vineyard inn’s 180+ degree view of the Williamette Valley is second to none. The inn’s wrap-around deck is a perfect spot to sit and relax, listening to birds chirp while watching sunrise or sunset over vineyards and a pasture dotted with horses.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly, given run of the house, and very well cared-for. Throughout our stay, everyone at Youngberg Hill made us feel like part of the family, cheerfully catering to every request and genuinely interested in our making our stay enjoyable.
From delicious breakfasts to complementary afternoon wine tastings to 24 hr self-service drinks and snacks, absolutely no amenities were lacking. Need winery recommendations or dinner reservations? We found Becky, Jesse, and Wayne eager to help. Animal lovers will enjoy the enthusiastic greetings offered by labs Holly and Dale and their kitty companion Truffle.
Whether you’re looking for a little solitude or seeking the pleasant company of fellow travelers and friendly inn keepers, you’ll find it all at Youngberg Hill.
Horseback Riding in Wine Country
May 26th, 2011 by nicolette
Horseback Riding in Wine Country is beautiful when done at Equestrian Wine Tours with Jake Price. For years his horse, Chewy, took many Youngberg Hill guests on rides through vineyards in Dayton and Dundee. Now Chewy is summering at Youngberg Hill along with a few friends. Come say ‘Hi’ to him and enjoy a glass of wine.

Unique Angles Photography came a few weeks ago to finish taking Inn room photos at Youngberg Hill. Marcus Berg was here last year to do a few rooms and we are trilled to have him back to finish up. Look at what he creates, it’s truly amazing! I haven’t found anyone that can light a room as well as he does. Thank you Marcus. Check out his site at http://www.uniqueanglesphoto.com
