Our Tasting Room
Taste the wine and savor the experience.
Our tasting room is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm. Appointments for groups of 10 or more and tastings from December through March are requested..
Imagine sitting on our expansive deck with the grapevines from which the grapes are grown that make the wine you are tasting, while taking in broad views of the Willamette Valley with the Cascade Mountains as the backdrop. To the northeast is Mt. Hood, the east is Mt Jefferson, and further to the southeast is Sisters. As you sweep around to the southwest, the Coast Range shows its blue hue and the sunsets last forever. As you are sitting there, you feel a calmness sweep over your body and mind. Thoughts of what you have to do or where you need to go quietly disappear. The only thing that matters is that you are totally in that moment, at this place, in a serene state of mind. It is perfectly quiet, calm, and peaceful.
This is not the standard wine tasting experience. You are not bellied up to the bar, instead encouraged to walk around the site, find your favorite easy chair, and relax. You taste with the winemaker, grape grower, and owner; to learn about the growing of the grapes, our organic and biodynamic farming practices, and our non-intervention in the winemaking process. The winemaker has been known to pull out a library wine on occasion or take a trip down to the port barrel for a sip of pinot port. You are a guest that is welcome throughout the hill to enjoy all we have to offer. We also offer vineyard tours and special barrel tastings by appointment.
Our standard tasting fee for 5 of our current releases is $10.
